The Best of Prague Walking Tour explores the main sights and attractions of this enchanting city, and includes an enjoyable walk through the Prague Castle complex.
As our friendly, knowledgeable guide leads us on this fascinating journey, we learn of the people and events connected to these places, and how they have shaped the city the past one thousand years.
After meeting your guide in the Old Town, we start the tour with a short coach transfer up to Prague Castle (the highest point in Prague).
We then explore Prague Castle and the magnificent St. Vitus Cathedral within. The guide brings it to life with stories of where kings were crowned and battles were fought. And we experience a spectacular vista of the whole city below.
Next, we descend through the picturesque Lesser Town (Mala Strana), walking down the "Royal Way", Nerudova Street, and on to Charles Bridge.
We then cross Charles Bridge, one of Europe’s oldest stone bridges, to reach the medieval centre of Prague.
We explore the cobbled streets around the Old Town Square and stroll into the Jewish Quarter (Josefov), once the largest Jewish ghetto in Europe. The guide will explain the dramatic history, traditions and legends linked to this area of the city.
As a farewell gift at the end of the tour, we present you with a map of Prague and a CD of Prague photos with our compliments.
Your guide will also give you a free voucher for our Haunted Prague walking tour, which runs daily at 9pm. You can use the voucher on any day of your trip (just turn up and show the voucher).
