Following hot on the heals of their successful bar in the
New Town (
Nebe Kremencova), the people at Nebe have opened up an Old Town location.
The new Nebe Celnice is attracting the same mix of Czechs and International visitors, to what is arguably an even more attractive, and larger venue.
Nebe (which means Sky in Czech) is located in expertly restored cellars, with modern aircon and extractor units giving it a clean, airy and smoke free feel.
Nebe is furnished in a contemporary style with walnut coloured tables and a gleaming backlit bar. With seating all around, take a pew and soak up the atmosphere over a well mixed cocktail - there's over a hundred to choose from, including their speciality: "bucket cocktails" for eight people.
Drinks are priced for the local market, which means draught beers for around 50czk and many cocktails priced at around 100czk. And there are happy hours most days up until 8pm, during which all cocktails are just 59czk
The music is mainly party tunes from the 80s/90s/00s/10s. Nebe is spacious, so there is plenty of room to dance later on, both on the dance floor and around the bar. Dancing to music videos on the large screen is popular.
The regular music programme is:
Monday - RnB Soul Video Clips
Tuesday - Video Jukebox
Wednesday - Party Mix
Thursday - Best of 60s/70s/80s/90s Video Mix
Friday - Party Mix
Saturday - Video Mix
Sunday - Video Clips.
With smart modern furnishings, reasonably priced drinks, a good atmosphere and dancing till late on all nights of the week, Nebe Celnice is well worth a visit.
