View restaurants recommended by Prague Experience: Prague restaurants ---------------------------------------------- U Ceskych Panu is a good value, highly recommended Medieval style restaurant just 5 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square. U Ceskych Panu (Restaurant of the Czech Lords) is set in Gothic cellars which have been expertly restored to offer the feel of medieval times, but in a modern, air-conditioned environment. The menu has wide appeal, featuring a mix of traditional and modern Czech cuisine. Choices include smoked meats, roast duck, sausages, roast pork and a fine goulash, as well as more international ribs and burgers, plus various steak, chicken and fish dishes. There are also salads and vegetarian meals. Local Moravian wines and cold Czech beers provide the perfect accompaniment to your meal. And as with the food, the drinks are very reasonably priced, ensuring diners can eat and drink pretty much what you like without denting the wallet. Tip: For an aperitif or an after dinner drink, you may wish to order a bottle of Bohemia Brut 'Czech Champagne'; a nice touch, and once again, a good price. For good quality, well presented traditional Czech food, served in interesting surroundings, U Ceskych Panu is for us the best value restaurant in Prague. |
