The Prague Intro Sightseeing Tour combines a guided panoramic tour by air-conditioned coach of the city's major sights and attractions, with a walking tour of Prague Castle.
Participants gain a good understanding of the layout of the city and learn some key facts about its dramatic history.
After picking you up from your Prague hotel we begin our tour in the New Town, where we visit the most vibrant area of the city, Wenceslas Square, and see its dominant building, the National Museum.
We then drive to the river to see the golden roofed National Theatre and the city's historic bridge, Charles Bridge.
Next, we cross the river to enter the picturesque Lesser Town (Malá Strana), with its ancient burgher houses and quaint side streets, before driving up to Prague Castle.
Prague Castle is highly pedestrianised, so at this point we exit the coach and join the guide for a stroll around the complex, to admire the grand buildings within and see St. Vitus Cathedral up close.
The visit to Prague Castle lasts for around 50 minutes, and the terrain is flat, albeit with some cobbles.
Afterwards we walk down towards the river via some stone steps, board the coach once more and cross back over the water, driving onto the enchanting Old Town. En-route we pass through the Jewish Quarter and see the stunning Municipal House.
The tour finishes at a convenient point in the city centre, near Wenceslas Square.
Prague Experience sightseeing tours use modern, air-conditioned mini-coaches.
