Black Light Theatre
Performance Details
The Image Theatre initially created the Best of Image to showcase the wide variety of black light theatre techniques it employs in its shows.

However, the success of the production has led to its integration in the regular programme, with performances held several times per month.

In essence, the production is a compilation of the best scenes from their most successful productions, created over the past 25 years.

It brings together the black light techniques of using extreme colour, luminescent lights and other visual effects, and combining them with energetic dance routines, vibrant music, and very funny slapstick comedy routines.

Black light theatre offers audiences the chance to set aside everyday life, in exchange for a world of fantasy and invention.

In black light theatre the story is recounted visually, with little or no spoken words. This makes the shows ideal for an international audience, for both adults and children.
