Prague sightseeing tours

----------------------------------------------

The Prague Architecture Walking Tour explores the different architectural styles in the historical centre of Prague: Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical and Art Nouveau. Prague is a city of fascinating buildings, steeped in history.

Our tour is a revealing walk through the main historical areas of the city, the Old Town and the Lesser Town (Malá Strana), crossing over magnificent Charles Bridge, which links the two together.

We learn about the powerful Gothic Tyn Church, charming Ungelt, St. Jacob’s Church where kings’ weddings took place, Carolinum - the oldest University in Central Europe, the Klementinum, the stunning Art Nouveau Municipal House, the Powder Gate Tower and the Estates Theatre, where Mozart performed his famous opera “Don Giovanni” in 1787.

Over in the Lesser Town, the walk takes us to the hidden parts of Kampa Island, wedged between the Vltava River and the Certovka Canal. En route, we learn about the church of the Knights of Malta Order and the John Lennon Wall.

Prague is an open-air gallery of architecture, with a wealth of styles represented. The Prague Architecture Walking Tour brings all this to life.

Prague Experience walking tours are in English and are led by expert tour guides.
