New Year's Day | Czech State Day (Wednesday) - Public Holiday DATE: 01 January 2025 | | Public Holiday. New Year's Day is also celebrated as Czech State Day in Czechia. Jan Palach Day DATE: 20 January 2025 | | Jan Palach Day commemorates a young Czech student who set himself on fire in protest at the
