Prague Marathon

Liberation Day - Public Holiday
DATE: 08 May 2025 | | Public Holiday. Celebrates the end of World War II. Although Soviet tanks rolled in to liberate Czechia a day later than elsewhere, on the 9th May 1945, VE Day is celebrated on the 8th May in line with other former Communist countries "liberated" by the Russians.

Open House Prague
