Suk Hall is an elegant, beautifully constructed concert hall inside the Rudolfinum building. The Rudolfinum is a grand, Neo-Renaissance building set in a commanding position on the banks of the
Vltava River in the Old Town in Prague.
Suk Hall seats 192 people. Its intimate atmosphere and excellent acoustics are perfectly suited for chamber music concerts, such as string quartets and piano recitals. And as the Rudolfinum is the seat of the renowned Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, it is musicians from the orchestra who regularly perform and organise the concerts here.
For refreshments, next to Suk Hall is Café Rudolfinum. It serves coffee, tea, hot chocolate, beers, wines and spirits, and is ideal for a pre-concert glass of sparkling wine or beer.
The foyer and cloakroom open 60 minutes before concerts.
Other areas inside Rudolfinum include the Dvořák Hall, exhibition rooms, a library and a shop. Audiences who attend a classical concert at Suk Hall will adore both the grandeur of the building and the quality of the music.
