----------------------------------------------

La Provence Restaurant is paradise for all lovers of true French food.

This terrific restaurant offers fine, authentic cuisine, served in a choice of two areas; the traditional Parisian Brasserie or the warm, comfortable surroundings of the traditional Provencal Village, where the atmosphere is cosy, colourful and romantic.

French chefs head up the kitchen and bring with them a wealth of culinary experience. For starters, La Provence offers a mouth-watering choice of fresh oysters, salmon, escargots, foie gras and grilled gambas.

For mains, there is tender lamb, beef, duck and traditional casseroles, expertly prepared with authentic sauces and accompaniments. Even more impressive is the fresh fish and seafood platters, the fruits de mer on crushed ice.

The wine list includes Czech, Spanish and Italian wines, and naturally a good variety of excellent French wines.

La Provence is split over two levels. The Provencal Village is located downstairs and most guests will wish to dine here. Candles on the tables and live piano create a very warm ambience, where people can relax and spend time enjoying the fine cuisine.

At the entrance level is the Parisian Brasserie. This area is ideal for lunches or special functions. The food is of course equally good.

La Provence is situated just behind the Old Town Square and has a wide appeal to romantic couples, groups of friends, corporate diners and many others.
