The Royal Palace Banquet takes place at Martinic Palace, a beautifully restored late-Renaissance building, renowned for its stunning décor and beamed ceilings. The feast begins with the arrival of the King in his horse-drawn carriage, followed by his entrance to the great hall to lively fanfare. Once the courtly entourage is seated, the historical performance commences with a programme of authentic 16th century music, song, dance and entertainment. The 15 accomplished performers are dressed in exquisite period costume.
A welcome drink and a delightful three-course dinner is included. There is also a vegetarian option (state in Special Requests on the booking form if required). A range of beers, wines, sparkling wines, spirits and soft drinks can be ordered from your waiter. At the time of Rudolf II Prague was a mighty city, the seat of power of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
