Prague New Year's Eve Parties

Join us for a spectacular New Year’s Eve Party in the Grand Ballroom at Zofin Palace, an all-inclusive extravaganza of fine food, drinks and live entertainment.

Zofin Palace is a beautiful neo-Renaissance building situated by the Vltava River on Slavonic Island (Slovansky ostrov).

The palace is the only building on the island, and is just two minutes' walk from the National Theatre in the centre of Prague.

The Grand Ballroom (in which Tchaikovsky, Wagner, Berlioz, Liszt and Dvořák have all performed) will be richly decorated for a New Year's Eve party.

The theme is ‘Masks for Zofin’ and staff will be wearing facial masks. Guests can do the same or dress as they wish.

Entertainment: a jazz band performs in the first part of the evening, followed by a DJ playing 70s/80s/90s/00s/10s/20s party music with giant video projection and dancing.

There is also a dance show, a casino and a free Fotonaut (photo booth which sends photos to your email).

Inclusive Food: a superb gourmet buffet dinner with a wide range of food, including sirloin/rump steak, Pike-perch fish, chicken Paneer Makhani, oysters, samosas, salmon tartar and fresh salads. There are also magnificent desserts, fresh fruit, a selection of cheeses and an ice-cream station.

Later on, a midnight buffet is also laid out.

Inclusive Drinks: unlimited Czech & International Wines, Pilsner Urquell Beer, Radegast Birell Non-alcoholic Beer and Soft Drinks.

At Midnight: watch the fireworks over the river from outside Zofin Palace, and toast in the New Year with your included glass of sparkling wine.

After Midnight: the party continues with the DJ, video projection and dancing until 2am.

Dress Code: Smart (shirt & trousers/cocktail dress is fine; no jeans, t-shirts or trainers).

Seating Areas: choose from 4 seating areas:

-Grand Ballroom Front Half
-Grand Ballroom Back Half
-Main Balcony (overlooks the ballroom)
-Gallery (rear area of balcony that does not overlook the ballroom).

Seating: Guests will be seated on tables of 4 people on the Main Balcony and on round tables of 10 people in the three other areas.

Access: Zofin Palace is located on Slavonic Island, which is a small island just 20 metres from the river embankment. It is accessible to pedestrians and taxis via a short bridge, and is perfectly walkable from any hotel in the city centre.
