Axa Swimming Pool
The Axa Swimming Pool is the finest in Prague's city centre. An impressive 25m in length, this heated indoor pool is just 10 minutes walk from both the Old Town Square and Wenceslas Square.The Axa Swimming Pool is open to the general public seven days a week, but make a note of the opening hours. Within the same building as the swimming pool is the Axa Gym & Fitness Centre. This is a modern sports complex with a large well equipped gym, indoor bikes for spinning, massage tables and a solarium. For refreshments, a small café stocks drinks and snacks. Visitors can walk to the Axa Swimming Pool, Gym and Fitness Centre from most places in the city centre (or catch a tram or metro). The other major swimming pool in Prague is the Podoli Swimming Pool Complex, which is just outside the city centre. You need to take a tram to reach Podoli. |
