Prague City Tour

We embark on a fascinating journey through time, to learn of the people who have shaped the city, and to discover the places they built over the past one thousand years - Prague has over 4,000 monuments.

This sightseeing tour is part by air-conditioned bus, part on foot (some of the city's best areas are pedestrianised).

After meeting your guide near Wenceslas Square, we board the bus for a tour of the main historical areas.

Learn about the origins of Prague, as we visit the enchanting Old Town and picturesque Lesser Town. And discover the history of Wenceslas Square, with the mighty National Museum at its top.

Next, we drive up to Prague Castle for the highlight of the trip: a 75 minute walking tour of the Prague Castle complex. This includes a visit inside its greatest monument, Saint Vitus Cathedral.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world, and as we explore it the guide brings the magnificent squares and castle buildings to life, explaining their turbulent history, and their royal and presidential connections.

We admire the ancient architecture, fortifications and towers, historic churches, and other national treasures.

And because Prague Castle sits on a hill, we encourage you to take in the stunning views over the city.

From Prague Castle, we walk down through the Lesser Town to cross Charles Bridge.

The bridge presents a different, remarkably beautiful perspective of the city skyline.

The tour continues on, exploring further parts of the Old Town. And if time allows, we visit the Jewish Quarter.

The tour finishes at the Old Town Square.
