Nebe is a large music bar popular with Prague locals and visiting stag and hen parties, situated in the upper half of Wenceslas Square. The bar is spread over 2 floors, with the central area stretching up through both levels to give a sense of space. The lights in the ceiling represent stars in the night sky (Nebe translates as Sky in English). Early on the atmosphere is relaxed, with music played at a reasonable level to allow for casual chat. Then, well-known tunes from the 80s/90s/00s/10s/20s are cranked up. And often there are videos to accompany the music, played on a large screen. At weekends Nebe can get pretty busy. It is open as late as 5am, so you may find yourself dancing towards the end of the night around the tables! The choice of drinks includes Staropramen and Stella Artois on tap, bottled beers, wines and an extensive list of spirits and cocktails. Drinks are reasonably priced. And there are happy hours most days up until 8pm, during which cocktails are just 59 CZK. With fairly priced drinks, a pleasant atmosphere and late opening, Nebe Wenceslas Square is worth popping into during your visit to Prague, whether you are a couple or a large group. And for stag and hen parties staying in Wenceslas Square, this is a good warm up bar for a drink or two, or as a last post at the end of the night. |
