One of three music bars owned by the small Nebe chain, the Nebe at Celnice street attracts a healthy mix of Czechs and International visitors. Nebe (which means Sky in Czech) is located in expertly restored cellars, with modern aircon and extractor units giving it a clean, airy and smoke free feel. Nebe is furnished in a contemporary style with walnut coloured tables and a gleaming backlit bar. With seating all around, take a pew and soak up the atmosphere over a well mixed cocktail - there's over a hundred to choose from, including their speciality: "bucket cocktails" for eight people. Drinks are priced for the local market, which means draught Czech beers for around 50 CZK and many cocktails priced at around 125 CZK. And there are happy hours most days up until 8pm, with good reductions on all. The music is mainly party tunes from the 80s/90s/00s/10s/20s. Nebe is spacious, so there is plenty of room to dance later on, both on the dance floor and around the bar. Dancing to music videos on the large screen is popular. With smart modern furnishings, reasonably priced drinks, a good atmosphere and dancing till late on all nights of the week, Nebe Celnice is well worth a visit. |
