This wonderful 'old world' establishment is situated on the first floor of a historical building, from where visitors can look out over the square, and across at eye level to the Astronomical Clock.

The furnishings at Café Mozart are timeless. Dark wooden tables are laid with sparkling silverware and crystal glasses. Chairs are upholstered with fine quality fabrics. Historical clocks and porcelain fill the display cabinets.

The day starts at Café Mozart with breakfast, served from 07:30 to 10:30.

The Daytime Refreshments Menu which follows is served until 18:00. It features a mouth-watering selection of homemade cakes, apple strudel, sweet pastries, desserts, and ice cream sundaes.

The drinks list offers an extensive range of coffees, teas, beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.

The concept of "Afternoon Coffee and Cake" is pushed delightfully to the limit at Café Mozart.

CHRISTMAS: 24-25 DECEMBER 2024

At Christmas, Café Mozart hosts special 'Dinner & Concert' nights, combining a delicious multi-course meal with a live classical music concert.

There is a choice of three well designed menus, including a vegetarian option. The food is inspired by Czech and Austrian cuisine, and is served while the musicians play. Please state your menu choice(s) in Special Requests on the booking form.

The concert is performed by the Mozart String Quartet, and includes well-known pieces by Charpentier, Corelli, Pachelbel, Haydn, Vivaldi, Mozart, Smetana, Dvořák, Strauss and Brahms. The performance rounds off with Christmas carols.

The music, the food, and the beautiful setting combine perfectly, and should leave guests with a warm, long lasting memory of the event.

Entry to a 'Dinner & Concert' night is by ticket, which must be booked in advance via the concert listings page on this website.

NYE PARTY: 31 DECEMBER 2024

On New Year's Eve, Café Mozart hosts a traditional NYE party, featuring a gourmet buffet dinner, a live band to entertain, and dancing.

AMBIENCE: Elegant and welcoming New Year's Eve party with a festive atmosphere.

ENTERTAINMENT: Live band and dancing. The Zuzana Dubnová Quartet (singer & pianist, saxophone, bass guitar and drums) play Latin American rhythms, swing and famous pop tunes. Listen to the music of Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Sting, Amy Whitehouse, The Beatles and many others.

There is a small, but popular dance floor.

AT MIDNIGHT: Large windows at Café Mozart overlook the Old Town Square. Toast in the New Year with your included Bohemia Sekt 'Czech Champagne', and watch the festivities and fireworks in the square. Alternatively, step outside into the square.
