Aloha Bar & Club
Aloha is one of Prague's hidden gems. This lively basement bar and club is only 5 minutes walk from the Old Town Square, yet hidden away on a side street, you are unlikely just to stumble across it - you need to seek it out.

Once inside, you'll find its colourful Hawaiian theme and friendly bar staff create a warm, upbeat atmosphere; one which attracts a healthy mix of local Czechs and International visitors all week long.

Aloha's speciality is cocktails. And there is a decent list to choose from, all at very reasonable prices for central Prague.

In terms of straight spirits, Aloha stocks a wide selection of vodka, gin, whiskey, rum, tequila, Cognac and more. Plus, there is ice-cold Czech beer on tap, and various wines, juices and energy drinks.

As with any good music bar, things liven up as the night progresses. From 7pm to 10pm, the music adds a nice background vibe, making it an ideal bar to visit with friends for a chat.

After 10pm, the DJ ramps up the sound level, playing a varied selection of 80s/90s/00s/10s/20s party tunes. Loaded up with a few expertly mixed Pina Coladas (or other choice of drink), people naturally gravitate towards the dance floor, where the DJ keeps things moving all night long.

Another attraction of Aloha is a large screen by the dance floor. Early on, it plays dramatic surfing videos, before switching to videos that match the tunes being played.

If dancing is not your thing, take a pew, enjoy the buzz, and watch the bartenders mix their magic - it's entertaining!

Aloha Café Bar
While the Aloha bar and club opens at 7pm, upstairs at street level is an all-day café. It serves breakfast, lunch, cakes and ice-cream, as well as coffee, soft drinks, beer and spirits.
